A fuel tanker explosion at Ugwu Onyeama in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State has claimed an unconfirmed number of lives on Saturday.
The explosion was said to have occurred around 11:30 a.m., when a tanker loaded with petrol exploded on the very busy road.
Some eyewitnesses who described the incident as devastating said the explosion destroyed many nearby vehicles, killed many persons.
The actual number lives lost in t tragic incident is yet to be confirmed by the Police and road safety authorities.
