President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named Brigadier General Kunle Nafiu as the new Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Before his appointment, Brig. Gen. Nafiu served as Chief of Staff to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, and previously held the same role under the late Lt. Gen. Raised Abiodun Lagbaja.
A graduate of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College and the US Army War College, Nafiu is an Artillery Officer and a member of the 47 Regular Course. He also served as a Directing Staff at the Army War College, Nigeria.
Hailing from Ileogbo, Aiyedire Local Government Area of Osun State, Nafiu replaces Brig. Gen. Yushau Ahmed, with his appointment taking immediate effect.
