The Leader of the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom, Kemi Badenoch has said that she had a very negative experience with the Nigerian police.
Responding to questions during an interview with a journalist – if she trusted UK police, Badenoch said her experience with the Nigeria police was “very negative”
“The police in Nigeria will rub us. I remember the police stole my brother’s shoe and his watch. It is a poor country, so people can do all sorts of things, and giving people guns is just a license to intimidate.”
The conservative party leader added that the Nigeria experience is not the bar that should be used for the British police.
“My experience with the British police was so positive.”
“When I was boggled, the police were there, and very helpful.”
