Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed a widely circulated list detailing alleged prices for its 2027 nomination and expression of interest forms, describing it as “mischievous” and unauthorised.
In a statement, the party said it had not released any official guidelines or costs for forms ahead of the next general elections, warning members and the public to disregard the document. It stressed that any legitimate information on the process would be communicated through its recognised channels.
The APC cautioned against the spread of false information, noting that the purported price list was intended to mislead party supporters and create unnecessary confusion. It added that the timetable and modalities for the 2027 elections would be announced in due course.
Party officials reiterated their commitment to a transparent nomination process, urging aspirants to rely only on verified updates from the party leadership.
