Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has appealed to citizens for patience following a widespread electricity outage, assuring that efforts are underway to restore supply.
Responding to the disruption, the minister said “we’re on it,” indicating that relevant agencies are actively working to address the fault and stabilise the grid.
The blackout, which affected several parts of the country, has raised fresh concerns over the reliability of Nigeria’s power infrastructure. While the exact cause of the outage was not immediately disclosed, officials said investigations are ongoing.
The minister emphasised that restoring electricity remains a priority, urging Nigerians to remain calm as engineers work to resolve the situation and prevent further disruptions.
