In a powerful call to action, the Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence Dr. Oliver Ali Aba, has condemned the federal government’s policy of reintegrating so-called repentant terrorists into society. He insists that true repentance requires justice and restitution, not blanket amnesty.
“You can’t destroy lives and properties and simply walk free by claiming repentance. That’s not justice — it’s an invitation for more violence,” the Prelate warned. He urged President Bola Tinubu to show unwavering political will in addressing Nigeria’s worsening insecurity and emphasized that no nation can thrive when justice is sacrificed for political convenience.
