Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke says his administration’s performance during its first term justifies a second term in office.
Speaking on Wednesday while receiving members of the Ansar-u-Deen Society of Nigeria, Osun State Council, at the Government House Banquet Hall, Adeleke cited his administration’s achievements and outlined an upgraded five-point agenda aimed at improving the welfare of residents.
The agenda focuses on youth, women and workers’ empowerment; infrastructure development; agro-industrial expansion; affordable healthcare and education; and a safer business environment to boost job creation.
“These priorities build on our original 2022 agenda, which we have faithfully implemented. I believe we have delivered on our electoral promises to the people of Osun,” the governor said.
The delegation, led by the council’s secretary, Pharmacist Akande Hafiz, commended the governor for infrastructure projects in Iwo, particularly the dualisation of the Odo-Ori-Adeeke Road, which they said has improved socio-economic activities.
The group also appealed to the governor for support in building a new mosque, after their previous place of worship was demolished during construction works.
