In an electrifying clash of eccentric personalities, Nigerian singer Badmus Okikiola, widely known as Portable, emerged victorious over fellow entertainer Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, in a celebrity boxing match held Saturday morning in Lagos.
Billed as ‘Chaos in the Rings’, the much-hyped event lived up to its name as both stars brought raw energy and theatrics to the ring. Portable, however, stole the spotlight with surprisingly sharp footwork and quick combinations that overwhelmed his opponent.
What began as a spectacle quickly turned into a one-sided affair, with Portable claiming victory via technical knockout. The bout ended with Speed Darlington nursing an apparent injury to his right wrist, sustained during the intense exchanges.
Spectators were treated to wild swings, swagger-filled entrances, and animated taunts, but it was Portable’s unexpected prowess that ultimately turned the tide.
