The Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA), Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed, has congratulated Family Worship FC and Naija Ratels FC for their victories in the 2025 President’s Cup.
Family Worship FC clinched the men’s title, defeating EFCC FC 4-3 on penalties, while Naija Ratels FC dominated N-Youth Ladies Football Academy 6-0 to claim the women’s championship.
Both teams, alongside runners-up EFCC FC and N-Youth Ladies, will represent the FCT in the National President’s Cup Round of 64, facing top clubs from across Nigeria.
Mouktar praised the teams’ dedication, urging them to carry the FCT’s pride onto the national stage.
“The Nigerian football community, especially here in the FCT, is very proud of their accomplishments. We congratulate the management of FWC, Naija Ratels, EFCC, and N-Youth Ladies Football Academy for the remarkable progress of their teams,” he said.
He also acknowledged the passionate fans who turned out in large numbers, describing their support as “unparalleled.”
Encouraging the teams to remain focused and disciplined, Mouktar assured them of unwavering support from the FCT FA.
“Go to the Round of 64 and make FCT proud! We will be giving you the support you need in every way possible. Let’s go and fight with our football artistry, and we believe that we can succeed,” he added.
