The win, secured on September 6 at Arthur Ashe Stadium, marks Sabalenka’s second consecutive U.S. Open title and her fourth Grand Slam triumph overall.
Back-to-back U.S. Open titles: Sabalenka becomes the first woman to defend the U.S. Open title since Serena Williams accomplished the feat in 2014.
