An Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon has left at least two Lebanese journalists dead, according to local media reports. The attack reportedly struck a media vehicle, resulting in the fatalities, though further details about the incident remain limited.
The Israeli military had not immediately issued an official statement on the strike at the time of reporting.
Separately, Israeli authorities indicated that one of those killed was believed to have been linked to Hezbollah as an intelligence operative, a claim that could not be independently verified.
The incident comes amid intensifying hostilities in the region, where cross-border attacks between Israel and armed groups in Lebanon have escalated, raising concerns about the safety of civilians and media workers operating in conflict zones.
