Iranian authorities have arrested 466 individuals accused of engaging in online activities considered a threat to national security, according to state media.
Officials said the suspects were detained for actions such as sharing anti-government content, filming sensitive locations, and allegedly collaborating with foreign adversaries. The arrests followed intelligence-led operations and technical surveillance, which authorities claim linked those detained to “enemy” networks seeking to stir unrest.
The crackdown is among the largest in recent weeks and comes amid heightened tensions linked to the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. Reports indicate that more than 1,000 people have been detained over the past month in connection with similar allegations.
