A tragic accident on the Agaie–Badegi Road in Katcha LGA, Niger State, has claimed the lives of seven persons, with 16 others injured.

- Vehicle involved: An articulated truck transporting Federal Government grains.
- Passengers: Around 36 male occupants, en route from Lagos to Kano.
- Cause: The accident was attributed to a bad section of the Lambata–Bida Road.
