A 23‑year‑old Nigerian graduate based in the United States, Oluwalayomi “Layo” Fadero, was killed in Nashville, Tennessee, after a vehicle driven by a suspect trying to escape police collided with her car, authorities say.
The crash occurred late last Friday when the driver, identified by local law enforcement as fleeing from officers, entered oncoming traffic and struck Fadero’s vehicle, according to reports from WSMV Nashville.
Fadero, a recent university graduate, was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details have been released about the suspect’s condition or charges, as the investigation remains ongoing.
