Vinícius Júnior has been named The Best FIFA Men’s Player for the first time after an extraordinary 2023/24 season with Real Madrid. The Brazilian forward made significant contributions throughout the season, scoring 24 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions. His standout moments included scoring in Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League final victory over Borussia Dortmund and netting a hat-trick against Barcelona in the Supercopa de España final.
Vinícius Júnior’s achievement marks a historic milestone as he becomes the first Brazilian to win the prestigious FIFA award since 2007 and the first to win it in its current iteration as The Best.
