Nigerian media personality Phyna has once again stepped forward to dispel claims of betrayal leveled by online critic VeryDarkMan (VDM), shedding light on what really transpired during their last interaction—and reinforcing her dedication to seeking justice for her sister.
During a heartfelt Instagram Live, Phyna expressed shock at VDM’s accusation, especially as she had been updating him consistently. She said:
“I don’t understand the betrayal talk because I’ve been calling and messaging him every day, giving him updates. He didn’t answer, he didn’t pick my calls. Yet I’m seeing this video. The problem at hand is not distraction; it is how I’m going to get justice for my sister.”
Clarifying further, Phyna revealed that VDM was informed every step of the way. She insisted she was fully transparent, even offering to share their chat history:
“The lady begged me to plead with that man, and I told VDM. He said okay, that I should be careful. When I got there, I told him. When I left, I also told him. I even have the messages. If needed, I’ll upload all these chats.”
Moreover, Phyna emphasized that she still values VDM’s support in the case:
“I need you in this case. You know this I need you. But if this is how you think, maybe to shake me… as much as it pains me, I stand.”
