Justin Bieber is fine — at least according to Justin Bieber.
After his mom, Pattie Mallette, sparked concern with a heartfelt Instagram post blanketing her son in prayers for “freedom, strength, clarity, and healing,” the 30-year-old pop star jumped into the comments with a lighthearted update: “Only thing I need healing from is my rolled pinky toe from playing ping pong.”
Mallette had shared recent photos of Bieber — including one in a T-shirt reading “Pray For Me” across the back — and wrote a lengthy blessing asking that “every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain — be broken in Jesus’ name,” adding, “Say amen if you agree.” She didn’t specify a reason for the message.
Her post arrived three days after Bieber shared what appeared to be a reflection sparked by a ChatGPT prompt — “Please speak to me the truth about how human effort is hurting humanity” — and a faith-based caption: “Jesus teaches that our effort is simply a response… Jesus becomes the prize… growth becomes something you desire because of the grace we have received.”
Bieber, who’s been open about his Christian faith and past health challenges, has kept a relatively low public profile in 2025 outside of sporadic social media posts and studio teases. His mom’s prayerful note quickly drew supportive comments from fans — and then Bieber’s ping-pong quip diffused any brewing worry.
Mallette’s message ended with a call for “TRUTH, LIGHT, and PROTECTION” over her son. Bieber’s reply suggested, at minimum, that his immediate needs are more ice-pack than intervention.
