Troops of the Joint Task Force (JTF), Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), in collaboration with other security agencies, have raided and destroyed bandit camps linked to a notorious leader in Konyo Gbise, near Akwaza, Katsina-Ala LGA, Benue State.

- 7 solar panels
- ½ bag of suspected Indian hemp
- Mobile phone, electrical cables, painting machine
- Portraits of known bandit leaders
Statement from JTF Commander:
Major-General Moses Gara commended the troops and urged them to sustain the momentum against criminals. He also appealed to residents to support security efforts with credible intelligence to help restore peace, especially as the farming season begins.
