Victims

Crash Details
The Bell 206 helicopter, operated by New York Helicopters, took off from the Downtown Manhattan Heliport at 2:59 p.m. Approximately 15 minutes into the flight, near the George Washington Bridge, the helicopter turned south along the New Jersey shoreline. At around 3:15 p.m., the aircraft experienced an in-flight breakup, causing it to crash into the Hudson River near Pier 40 in Manhattan.
