The United States has developed a 15-point proposal aimed at ending the ongoing conflict with Iran, according to multiple media reports citing officials familiar with the plan.
The framework, reportedly conveyed through intermediaries including Pakistan, outlines a broad set of conditions covering nuclear restrictions, missile controls and regional security arrangements. Key elements include dismantling major nuclear facilities, halting uranium enrichment, curbing ballistic missile development and ensuring free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
In return, Washington is said to be offering sanctions relief, support for a civilian nuclear programme and international monitoring mechanisms as part of a wider settlement.
US President Donald Trump has indicated that Washington is engaging “the right people” in Iran and expressed optimism about reaching a deal, suggesting Tehran is interested in negotiations. However, Iranian officials have publicly rejected the claims, with a military spokesperson dismissing the initiative and accusing the US of “negotiating with itself.”
Despite the diplomatic push, uncertainty remains over the plan’s acceptance, with reports indicating that the proposal may serve only as a starting point for potential talks rather than a finalized agreement.
