President Bola Tinubu has pledged that electricity supply in Nigeria will improve, expressing confidence that ongoing reforms in the power sector will deliver better results for citizens.
Speaking on efforts to stabilise the grid, Tinubu said his administration is committed to addressing longstanding challenges affecting generation, transmission and distribution. He stressed that measures already in place are aimed at boosting capacity and ensuring more reliable electricity across the country.
The president acknowledged persistent difficulties in the sector but assured Nigerians that the government is working to resolve them. He reiterated that improving power supply remains a key priority for economic growth and national development.
Tinubu also called for patience, noting that reforms will take time to fully materialise, but maintained that the outcome will be a more stable and efficient power system.
