Bryson DeChambeau returned to the winner’s circle in emphatic style, capturing his third LIV Golf title with a composed final-round 66 to claim a two-shot win. It marked the American’s first victory since the 2023 US Open, ending a stretch of near-misses that included strong but ultimately fruitless showings in Miami, Mexico City, and at the Masters.
Starting the final day with a four-stroke lead, DeChambeau never wavered. While Charles Howell III mounted a fierce charge with a sizzling 63, DeChambeau’s six birdies on the back nine helped him seal the win with a 19-under-par total—two ahead of Howell and five ahead of Talor Gooch.
“I’ve been playing great golf, just haven’t gotten the job done,” DeChambeau said afterward. “That was a lot of tension and I’m glad I was able to step up to the plate and get it done.”
The 31-year-old showed the kind of calm under pressure that had eluded him in recent starts, exorcising recent Sunday struggles that saw him fall away after leading or contending deep into final rounds.
This win could mark a turning point for DeChambeau’s 2025 season, restoring momentum ahead of a packed summer of major championships.
