AC Milan have reportedly secured a preliminary agreement to bring Nigerian forward Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen in a transfer valued at €30 million.
Sources close to the negotiations revealed that the arrangement involves a €5 million loan fee with an additional €24 million buy option. The clause, which is non-mandatory, will remain valid until the summer of 2026.
If finalised, the move would see Boniface commit to a long-term deal at San Siro, potentially keeping him in Milan colours through June 2030.
While the clubs have shaken hands on the framework, the transfer is still subject to medical examinations and other formal procedures before being sealed.
Boniface was instrumental in Bayer Leverkusen’s remarkable Bundesliga title triumph last season, a performance that caught the eye of Milan scouts. The Rossoneri see the 23-year-old as a key reinforcement for their frontline ahead of the upcoming Serie A campaign.
