Cristiano Ronaldo finally won his first Saudi Pro League title after leading Al Nassr to the 2025-26 championship, ending the club’s seven-year wait for league glory.
Al Nassr sealed the title with a commanding 4-1 victory over Damac on the final day of the season, with Ronaldo scoring twice in the decisive match.
The Riyadh club finished top of the table with 86 points, two ahead of rivals Al Hilal, clinching their first Saudi league crown since the 2018-19 season.
Goals from Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman gave Al Nassr control before Ronaldo struck with a free kick and later added another goal to secure the championship.
The 41-year-old Portuguese star was visibly emotional after the final whistle, breaking down in tears as fans celebrated the long-awaited triumph at Al Awwal Park in Riyadh.
The trophy is Ronaldo’s first major domestic title since joining Al Nassr in December 2022 and adds Saudi Arabia to a career résumé that already includes league championships in England, Spain and Italy.
Ronaldo ended the league campaign with 28 goals as Al Nassr completed one of their strongest seasons in recent years under coach Jorge Jesus.
