SANTA CLARA, Calif.— The Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29–13 on Sunday night at Levi’s Stadium to win Super Bowl LX, capturing the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy and first since the 2013 season.
Running back Kenneth Walker III was named Super Bowl MVP after rushing for 135 yards on 27 carries, becoming the first running back in 28 years to win the game’s top individual honor.
Seattle’s defense set the tone throughout, forcing three turnovers and repeatedly pressuring Patriots quarterback Drake Maye. The clinching blow came in the fourth quarter when linebacker Uchenna Nwosu returned a takeaway for a defensive touchdown, putting the game out of reach.
Kicker Jason Myers also delivered a historic performance, converting five field goals, a Super Bowl record, as Seattle built and maintained control in a defense-led contest.
For New England, the defeat ended a strong postseason run and denied the Patriots what would have been their seventh Super Bowl championship. For Seattle, the victory marked the culmination of a season built on defensive identity, efficient offense, and timely special-teams execution.
