Cristiano Ronaldo has reached another landmark in his record-breaking career, scoring his 100th Saudi Pro League goal for Al Nassr during their 4-2 victory over Al Shabab.
The Portugal captain struck in the second half of Thursday’s match, helping Al Nassr secure an important win in the closing stages of the 2025-26 league campaign. The goal moved Ronaldo to 100 league goals in Saudi Arabia since joining Al Nassr in January 2023, following his departure from Manchester United.
The milestone adds to Ronaldo’s extraordinary scoring record across world football. He has now reached 100 league goals in four different countries, having previously passed that mark in the English Premier League with Manchester United, La Liga with Real Madrid and Serie A with Juventus.
Ronaldo’s latest goal also keeps Al Nassr firmly in contention for the Saudi Pro League title. Earlier this week, The Guardian reported that Al Nassr were leading the race with three games remaining, five points ahead of Riyadh rivals Al Hilal, although Hilal had a game in hand.
The 41-year-old has remained central to Al Nassr’s ambitions since arriving in Saudi Arabia, consistently delivering goals in key matches. In April, he marked his 100th Saudi Pro League appearance with two goals against Al Najmah, a performance the league described as another example of his continued influence in the competition.
Ronaldo’s move to Al Nassr was initially viewed by some as the beginning of the final stage of his career, but his output has continued to shape both the club’s season and the global profile of Saudi football. His presence helped accelerate the league’s recruitment drive, attracting major international names and increasing worldwide attention on the competition.
For Al Nassr, the timing of the milestone could prove significant. The club is chasing its first major league title of the Ronaldo era, and his form remains one of its biggest weapons in the final stretch of the campaign.
Beyond the title race, the goal moves Ronaldo closer to another personal target: the 1,000-career-goal mark, a number he has repeatedly suggested remains within reach. For now, however, the immediate focus is on Al Nassr’s championship push, with Ronaldo once again at the center of the story.
